Cost: $590- includes 6 class sessions, 7 weeks of open studio access, 25 lbs of clay, glazes and firings during class session. Additional clay/glaze/firing package available for $100 per bag.

Description: In this hands-on, 6-week course, students will explore ceramic hand-building techniques using clay slabs to create both functional and decorative forms. Alongside construction methods, we’ll delve into a variety of surface design techniques using underglazes, including sgraffito, slip inlay and painting techniques.  We will also explore stamp-making, carving and shellac-resist etching. This action-packed class is perfect for beginners and intermediate students interested in expanding their clay skills and creative expression.
